It is right and good for us to examine our conscience daily, and to be mindful of the moral teachings of the law of Moses, and the commands of God, especially of our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave us the new commandment to love one another. Being realistic about evaluating your own performance, however, does not being dragged down and losing the insurance and confidence of our salvation in Jesus Christ.
