The academic institutions in the Bay Area have produced some of the most brilliant minds and innovative solutions in all disciplines of science. However, one of their greatest contributions to society may be the one most often overlooked and undervalued. For over 130 years, two schools have competed so fiercely and vigorously in all aspects of the undergraduate experience, chief amongst them being their meeting on the gridiron.
