In this chapter, I discuss with the Caldwells their college love story that led to marriage. We discussed a range of topics such as how to overcome some challenges that married couples face, how to balance career and family life, couples that have been an influence on their marriage, and recommendations for couples who are looking to transition to marriage. Despite what the media says about African American relationships there are great examples that set the standard for (love). I hope that this chapter inspires those who have the desire to get married or married couples who may need a reminder of why they chose marriage. This chapter is dedicated to Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee who wrote the book, "In this life together." Black marriage is for the (culture).
