Steep declines in retail numbers from Wal-Mart and Target lead the market into some sharp declines on Wednesday! Terrible quarters, full of issues from supply chain, inflation, product availability, over ordering and others, lead to revised outlooks on the downside. Home Depot and Lowe's did much better and were able to leave full year guidance intact, but they still sell off with the other retail names!
