In this episode, we chat with Katie Doughty - a former elementary school teacher turned entrepreneur and homeschool mom of two.
She started an online preschool during the pandemic to help give preschoolers a sense of belonging and connection during a difficult time.
The preschool has grown into a resource for caregivers to use on their own time as she has recorded over 40 hours of lessons that cover everything A-Z including stories, character building, movement activities, art projects, Play-Doh, letter writing, and so much more! It's like the Netflix of preschool!
Since then, she’s been called to create Raising Kind Humans, a new section of Leaping Letters for kids of all ages to get involved in community service in new and fun ways.
Katie chooses a cause to highlight and teach about through stories and activities and create a project for kids to do to help the given topic. She is passionate about giving kids a way to give back to their communities and reap the benefits of serving others.
