I am excited to introduce you to Yvonne Reese this week.
Despite a tough childhood, Yvonne has had an amazing career, from new home sales to advertising sales and then to senior living start-ups.
Yvonne had a very rocky start in life starting with being born to teenagers that planned to give her away and hid the pregnancy from their parents in 1968, until she was born on Christmas Day, and they did not think they could give away a baby born on that day…
They did not love each other, and it went downhill from there. Her Dad kidnapped her at 5 years old, moved her out of state, married another woman and had four children with her before she ran away leaving Yvonne at 11 years old to raise three girls and a 6-month-old baby boy.
Yvonne was raised with abuse both physical and emotional and as she now understands, her father is a narcissist. Nothing he ever told her is true. Unpacking all of that has been quite a discovery into herself. Somehow her unwavering positivity in her heart - God's light in her carried her through.
The byproduct of people pleasing with a pure heart, set Yvonne up for a highly successful 30 plus year sales career. Burn was inevitable as she put all her eggs of happiness in others, her husband, her clients, and her children.
Through it all, she still loves people and serving them… Now she just serves herself and her needs first.
Yvonne has a great understanding for others from her years of sales and serving clients as well as the empathy and intuition that she was born with.
She uses all of this when working with clients, serving as a business coach with emphasis in sales.
Yvonne has a story to tell that emphasizes how less than perfect experiences can come full circle to best serve others.
Yvonne helps her clients understand themselves and their clients better through experience, personality testing and holding a mirror up to them in situations so that they can see through the blocks. This process allows them to see who they serve and who they do not and allows them to let go of their blocks and attract their ideal clients at the same time.
