Description

This week Mixed DNA is exploring the history of the Holocaust, from the 'Night of Broken Glass' to the start of WWIi, to Jewish people and communities, in both Germany and occupied territories, whose lives were torn apart by unjust laws and antisemitism at the core of the Nazi Regime. We'll touch on Hitler's life and end on his suicide and the liberation of concentration camps and killing centres by Allied Forces. We'll also briefly discuss how Afro Germans and disabled people were treated by the Nazi SS and we'll finish today's episode by touching on intergenerational trauma and how the Holocaust affected survivors children and grandchildren.
