Raise your hand if you’ve ever felt your heartache. Felt like you were being punished. Experienced tremendous sadness. Couldn’t stop
crying. Felt like you wanted to die. According to an article I read from joincake.com, and I’m paraphrasing…“Grief is the conflicting feelings caused by
the end of or permanent change in your life.” That’s how I felt 15 years ago when we were at my mom’s bedside. I experienced grief on steroids. My mom had just had surgery when I got the urgent nudge to leave work that day and go to the hospital. Stay tuned for the remainder of one of my painfully graphic experiences with grief. Before I jump in, this may be a trigger for some, so please use discretion while listening.
