They said something that hurt your feelings, made you think…what’s REALLY going on or said something that you want to believe so much that no matter what their past behavior was, you believe it anyway. Not only that, you continue to believe it until the lie hurts so bad…you have no other choice than to let that person go.
Did he tell you he loved you, but his actions showed something different? He said he loved me, but I keep catching him in lies. He said he loved me, but cheated on me. He said he loves me, but raped me.
