She is the creator of Walnut Wednesday which started as a podcast but has since evolved into a movement and safe haven for those who feel like a 'peanut' to begin their evolution into the walnut.

“You say to someone… “Yay! Celebrating you!” Like, what does it actually mean to celebrate someone? And when I Googled celebrating, it was to have an event in terms of something special, and I was like, what makes something special? And I came to realize that my definition of celebrating is my action of celebrating is to hold a moment.”
“I have done everything with Walnut Wednesday the complete wrong way around. I started the podcast, I did not tell a single soul really. I started my group with nobody in it. I started a Walnut Wednesday business page on Facebook and never invited anyone to it. I am a big believer in baby steps. And while those baby steps were actions in complete and total like pooping my pants fear. I still was just doing them. Because deep down if I took away all the embarrassing anticipation anxiety was following a butt smack.”
“It's okay to want more. I'm grateful for what I have, and I am excited for more. And I think I really embodied that over my birthday, where I actually celebrated pretty much the whole month of December because I wanted to, because I could, and that's not that I was ungrateful for the moments that I was having now, but I was simultaneously excited about the moments that I was going to have for the rest of the month, because I deserved them.”
