“I think a lot of this comes down to believing that we need to punish ourselves for being in, for getting ourselves into this situation that we don’t want. As if we don't deserve to get out of it in a way that's fun. We have to put in the work. We need to hustle and put in the grind to then be worthy of the reward, to be worthy of the good experiences out the other side, to be worthy of the change. We are all worthy right now.”
“We want to interrupt our old pattern, our old behavior, the cycle that we want to shift. The first thing, that first trigger for me, is always noticing that I'm trying to force something. So it all starts with awareness. It always starts with raising our awareness of our own experience, our own feelings, our own thoughts, in response, in relation to situations, events, things that we take action on... things that we are thinking about taking action on.”
“We don't necessarily know how to operate in the world anymore, because this thing has shifted, and our old pattern of thinking, our old way of reacting to a situation no longer feels true. So in any of those situations where change is happening, integration is happening. They go hand in hand, whether it's a conscious change, a circumstantial change, whether your perspective has just shifted, or your mind's just been blown.”
