Description

Our guest this week on Bètá Convo Live is Ghanaian jumper Nadia Eke -  the Director of Community Engagement at Special Olympics Florida, Ghana's national record-holder in women's Triple jump, and the 2016  African Triple jump champion.

Nadia spoke on the lack of knowledge, and perhaps desire, by African  companies and brands to leverage on professional athletes to promote  their brand.

Her Triple jump Personal Best and Ghanaian record of 14.33m (+0.8), was  set in Kingston (JAMAICA) on the 8 June, 2019.

She also won a silver medal at the 2014 CAA African Championships in  Marrakech, Morocco; took the bronze medal at the 2015 African Games in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo.

In 2016, she became the African Triple jump champion in Durban, South Africa.
