In this week’s episode we had the great opportunity to interview an inspiring woman and good friend, Christy Dangas.
Christy is a Project Management & Business Development Professional in the Energy Sector, focusing specifically in liquefied natural gas (LNG).
Christy’s journey in energy started seven years ago in Canada, transitioned to two years working on a project in the United States, and now finds herself in Athens, Greece. Here, she is working on the implementation of LNG in the East Mediterranean. She has a sincere admiration for the way our world is interconnected, in energy as a resource, but also how people are interconnected with the help of networking. She is so happy to be immersed in it all. In addition to her full-time job, she also loves helping others succeed in their own careers. Christy runs a small consulting business on the side, using her personal and professional experience to give back to others going through their own journey.
In our chat with Christy…
We focus on the art of networking and some key differences of the corporate world between North America and Greece.
Christy explains the spider-web analysis, educates us on liquid natural gas and shares her journey of moving across the world in the middle of a pandemic in order to pursue her dream. Christy is a firm believer that when you have a clear vision of what it is that you’re meant to do, get organized and go do it!
“You miss all the shots you don’t take”
Christy defines success as:
“Finding your purpose. Because once you have your purpose, nothing will get in the way of your success”
Christy’s message to women is:
“Be Kind to yourself”.
