In this week's episode, we had the opportunity to interview Tina Adamopoulos.
Tina is a Radio Host – Writer – Content Creator.
Tina Adamopoulos is a radio host and writer based in Toronto, Canada. Whether on-air, writing articles or creating content for multiple mediums, her lens is always focused on building community through thoughtfully tailored, people-driven stories.
In our chat with Tina...
Tina talks about her grandfather and how he was one of the main reasons behind her journey of becoming a journalist. Everyone’s story is important and you never know who is listening. You never know who needs to hear your story and who needs YOU.
Tina is also the Radio Host of the Greek Show “Γυναίκες Μαζί” which translates to “Women together” on Agape Greek Radio. The purpose of her show is to celebrate Greek women, and how they’re making waves in their industries. There are so many women who are doing magnificent things out there. They’re not our competition, they are our compass, we are meant to learn from them. With that being said Tina gives us some advice and tips when it comes to writing and interviewing people.
Finally, we touch base on roots and specifically our Greek roots. The very story of our nation being the foundation of who she is today and how through her show she wants to preserve the memories=stories of all the incredible people she gets to meet, so the next generation has the opportunity to learn.
Success to Tina is:
“Use your talents to uplift others”.
Tina’s message to women is:
“You have the power and you have the tools to create the life of your dreams.”
