Despite our different ideologies and concepts, they help us relate with dignity, love, and respect with family and friends. Virtues are learned through conformity of one's life and conduct to moral and ethical principles, uprightness, morality, and purity.
For Christians, the ten commandments tell us what not to do. However, people who don't follow Christian-based theology can still live a good life. The 9 Noble Virtues give people a positive guideline for righteous behavior. The former creates good followers while the latter inspires noble heroes.
