⚠️Today, I’m sharing my experiences while waiting at the Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade, before catching my flight to London. It was quite an eventful wait, filled with a mix of discomfort, delicious food, and some insights into airport security. Let’s dive in!
🟨The Sneaker Struggle
As soon as I got to the airport, I regretted my choice of footwear. I decided to break in my new sneakers on this trip, and let me tell you, that was not a smart move.
My feet were killing me! If I could turn back time, I’d definitely opt for my trusty old sneakers instead. Lesson learned: never wear new shoes for a travel day, especially not at the airport where you’ll be on your feet for hours.
🟥Airport Security Concerns
While waiting, I got to thinking about the security issues that come with working at an airport. It’s a high-risk environment for identity theft, cyber security breaches, and password theft.
The sheer amount of personal and sensitive information that flows through airports makes them prime targets for hackers.
It’s a stark reminder to always be vigilant about personal data security, especially in such busy and vulnerable places.
🟨Culinary Adventure: Serbian Chia Seeds Pudding
On a brighter note, I decided to try something new – Serbian chia seeds pudding. It was a delightful surprise!
The pudding was packed with a variety of seeds, and the taste was absolutely delicious.
It’s always fun to explore local cuisine, even in an airport setting. If you ever find yourself at Nikola Tesla Airport, I highly recommend giving it a try.
🟦Airport Ambiance
One thing I noticed about Nikola Tesla Airport is the lack of natural and ambient light. It makes the place feel a bit closed off and gloomy.
Natural light can make a big difference in creating a pleasant atmosphere, especially when you’re waiting for hours.
Despite the modern facilities, this was one aspect that I felt could use some improvement.
