Kate Mclaren, whose life story includes being a model, being betrayed, and being abandoned, granted me the extraordinary opportunity to interview her.
Kate, with tears in her eyes, remembers how life was cruel and how she had to fight for her life and happiness by taking up boxing as part of her recovery.

She has walked the catwalk at Fashion Week – now Kate McLaren is hoping to take the boxing world by storm.
From the UK catwalk to Sydney’s boxing circuit, born in Essex England, Kate Mclaren fell in love with Australia at the prime age of 19 and now calls Sydney's Eastern Suburbs home.
Kates's love for fighting started with Kung Fu when she was just eight years old. Kate is an orthodox boxer.
Kate has traveled to Thailand to train with some of the world’s best fighters and from here decided to become a professional fighter.
Kate is now officially training with the three-time world champion, Jeff Fenech and the team.
She started her Professional boxing career in December 2021 where she had her first professional debut on the undercard of Paul Gallen Vs Darcey Lussick on the No Limit show in Sydney.
Kate continues to build her record and work towards her goal of winning a World Title.
