Description

Ever wondered what it feels like to fly home from paradise into purgatory? Buckle up. This was our reality.

It started on a rainy Phuket Saturday... and ended over 24 hours later in a cold, wet, fog-covered Sydney. Yes, over 24 hours.

Why? Because our incredible travel agent (shoutout to their next-level sabotage skills) gave us a 9-hour Kuala Lumpur airport layover — just in case we didn’t already miss the beach enough.

Phuket to KL? Smooth flight, heavy hearts, and silent stares at departure screens.
9 hours in transit? Long enough to write a novel, grow a beard, and question your life choices.
Malaysia Airlines? Absolute champions again. Friendly staff, spotless planes, and calm amidst our chaos.
Kuala Lumpur Airport Crew? Efficient, kind, and probably wondering why four Aussie guys looked like they'd been abandoned.
Sydney? Cold. Rainy. Grey. Basically a slap in the face after Thailand's warmth. Welcome home, right?

This episode is part tragedy, part comedy — with sarcasm, sleep deprivation, and airport floor yoga included.

🎬 Hit play if you've ever endured a flight from hell, been betrayed by a travel agent, or just need a laugh at someone else’s expense.
