Tyler Gilbert is a starting pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks. On August 3, 2021, Tyler fulfilled his lifelong dream of playing Major League Baseball. He made his first appearance as a relief pitcher by not allowing a single run against the San Francisco Giants. 11 days later, he made history by becoming the 4th player in Major League Baseball history to throw a no-hitter in his first start, the first player to do so since 1953.
