Today on the Basketball Manitoba Podcast we are joined by Ross Wedlake.
Ross has been involved in basketball for over 40 years as a player, coach, and official. He is the current president of Basketball Manitoba and the Chair of the Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame and Museum. He played at the University of Manitoba where he was a conference all-star three times, All-Canadian once, and twice team MVP.
In 1972, he was a member of the Canadian Senior Men’s National Team. He was a member of the St. Andrews Super Saints that won the Canadian Senior Men’s Championships in1972,75, and 76.
He coached the Varsity Boys basketball program at Kildonan-East for 20 years and worked as an assistant with the University of Winnipeg Wesmen for 12 years.
Ross is a member of the Basketball Manitoba Hall of fame class of 1996.
