Welcome back to the Marvelous Middle Age Podcast!  Today I’m talking with Melinda Brokaw.  Melinda and I went to elementary, junior high and high school together - shout out to the Monticello High School Class of 1992, Go Panthers!

Melinda is a mama, friend, lifelong learner, a self improvement and empowerment seeker, volunteer, music and dance lover and DIY home improvement fanatic.  By day, she works as a nurse practitioner in gynecology oncology walking with women in their journey during surgery, cancer care and survivorship.

Melinda is an empty nester navigating life at a completely new stage, living single in her late 40s- soon to be 50. In this week’s episode we talk about finding your tribe of friends and ways that Melinda is discovering herself and enjoying new activities in this stage of life.

Please note this episode does include mention of suicide, so please take care in listening.
