Social media Disney-influencer Showcase of Wishes (@ShowcaseWishes on Twitter) challenged the DisneySpace Duo to kick off 2022 by reimagining Dinoland USA of Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom. Primeval Whirl has been dismantled. The writing is seemingly on the wall for The Dino Institute. This space is ready for attention.
Mark and Jeff first discuss the latest WDW news topics ranging from Star Wars lightsaber bags to the Walt Disney World Marathon weekend.
For DinoLand, Jeff challenges to bring in an Indiana Jones influence into the area, and even entertains the notion of creating a Zootopia themed space in the park, much like what is being built today at Shanghai Disneyland. Each of these ideas strikes fascinating side conversations about what brings relevance to Animal Kingdom while satisfying guests’ typical expectations.
Mark decides to scrap DinoLand almost entirely and build something quite grand in celebration of South America, setting a new spectacular corner of the world in Animal Kingdom - and borrows something quite unique from faraway Singapore to pull it off in a big way.
