JMC Episode 52 Welcome!
This week I chatted with Sammie Rosa. Sammie shares his journey of moving away from New York to PA to escape addiction that was beginning to take him over. He learned however, that it wasn't going to be that easy. After a few rough starts and relocating to Lancaster PA Sammie has now changed his life and has began his pre-med journey to become a doctor. But as a gay man of color Sammie learned what racism really looks like when he moved from the competitive environment of New York and into the rural parts of PA. It was here in Lancaster that he felt there was a great foundation for progressiveness and community. This journey is a special one. Enjoy!
