Intro: A discussion on choosing to be a hot air balloon and no longer a helium balloon. What this means metaphorically, and what beauty really is and where it truly comes from. There's a parable I speak of in which natives could not see ships until they believe ships existed and another modern day story that I heard 3 years ago about a woman had nothing going for her in the "looks department" but was able to attract true love based on her radiant inner beauty and a woman who is beautiful on the outside and empty on the inside who lost the same man because she was lacking stuff worth among other things. This was a true story that struck me and stayed with me so I share it tonight. And what it really means for us that even though looks aren't important we oftentimes will feel ugly or not beautiful but these feelings come from deep inside us and are easily fixed. Because our attractiveness factor is based on inner beauty that grows so great it moves to the outside of us. When we believe in our own inner beauty our outer beauty is seen by us and others.
