Lara lives in Driftwood, TX with her husband and 2 sons. She graduated from Texas State with a BFA in theatre and has been directing shows for 20 years. During that time she fell in love with costuming. She began to see the beauty in choosing timeless pieces that could be used across multiple decades. This passion, along with her personal need to trim her closet led her to dig deeper into sustainability and eventually capsule wardrobes. From there, she created The Wardrobe Edit®. The Wardrobe Edit® is a program dedicated to helping women simplify their lives by editing their wardrobes down to the items that make them feel most confident and stylish, while also educating them on the perils of fast fashion as they move toward a more sustainable lifestyle. She is excited to inform people about fast fashion and hopes to make a difference, one wardrobe at a time.
