Our October writing tips come from Deirdre Cartmill. Deirdre is a poet, writer and playwright from Northern Ireland. She has published two poetry collections, “The Return of the Buffalo” and “Midnight Solo”. She’s written for TV, stage and radio, and she’s recently received a commission from Belfast’s Lyric Theatre to write a new play. She is currently writing her first non fiction book, about her healing journey after surviving two heart attacks in a week when she was 43.
