 Bio:  Liz Matchett, and National Board Certified Teacher, wears many hats. She loves teaching Spanish at Gunn High School in Palo Alto. She is also one of the team of instructors for the World Languages Curriculum and Instruction courses at the Stanford Teachers Education Program. For more than 30 years, she has been a Team Leader for the Stanford World Language Project which delivers professional development for San Francisco Bay Area practicing teachers. To round out her professional time, she is the Executive Director of the California Language Teaches' Association. She lives with her husband and three cats in Redwood City, California.
