The way you deal with stress plays a huge part in its effects on your body. A great technique for managing a stressful day is called mindfulness. Mindfulness is about living in the here and now, deliberately paying attention to what's happening right now instead of getting lost in your thoughts about the past or future.  It takes effort and practice but it's worth it. When you've had a stressful day, it can be hard to settle down. It's important to reach out to people you trust to let them know how you're feeling. Do you have a tribe? Do you need to enhance your sister circle? Talking to someone can make a huge difference in how you feel. You're invited to join She Has Purpose, a group of like-minded women of purpose, who can help keep you accountable and provide a support system when you need one.  We meet monthly on the 4th Thursday; and membership will empower you with everything you need to make your life better.
