Rejection hurts. It feels like a punch to the gut, but rejection doesn't have to be final. Overcoming it can even be liberating and empowering if you understand why it happens and what rejection means about who you are, not what you've done or don't do. Rejection can seem like a negative judgment of who we are, but it is actually much closer to an objective truth about our talents and capabilities.
If we don't accept and embrace rejection, we will only hurt ourselves by internalizing it and not giving ourselves permission to grow and improve.
It is important to distinguish between the causes of rejection and the reasons that we judge ourselves for it. Learn more and join the She Has Purpose Community here: https://linktr.ee/maceawhisettse,
