I've always been a patriotic person who loves to support our service members, and that only increased when I met my favorite Vet: my husband, Andrew Anderson. When I realized Veteran's Day here in the U.S. would fall on a podcast release day, it seemed totally fitting to have today be the day this episode with my hubby was released.
In this episode, we talk about:
- Why he joined the military, and his boot camp experience
- His high point and low point during his time in the Navy
- His connection with Pat Tillman
- How we met and our first date
- Soooo many good stories about what it's really like to be in the United States military

ABOUT OUR GUEST
Andrew Anderson served in the U.S. Navy from April 2011 - April 2015, with most of his active duty time spent as a Culinary Specialist aboard the USS Ronald Reagan. An avid Arizona sports fan, he has been an Arizona Cardinals season ticket holder with his dad since 1998, and he loves dressing up as the 'Cardinals Mandalorian' to attend games with his 3D-printed helmet and costume. He met Carrie a week after returning home from his Navy service, and the rest is history! He is an amazing husband and dad and all-around kind human being. Connect with him on Twitter @iMrAnderson.
