Paralympian and Disability Rights campaigner, Anne Wafula Strike MBE, (www.annestrike.org ) is an example of courage, commitment and determination that challenges misconceptions about disability. Anne likes to inspire achievement and excellence across a broad range of life situations through motivational talks and appearances that encourages others to overcome difficulties and maximise their potential. In 2004 Anne became amongst the first wheelchair racers from sub-Sahara Africa to compete in wheelchair Racing at the Paralympics. In this episode we hear first hand about her life, her work and why she lives her life with a purpose to inspire people facing challenges to tap into the latent power that lies within them.
