Description

With a two-year-old and an almost term pregnancy, Eme Tony-Uzoebo left her home country to study at Harvard Business School where she obtained an MBA.  Co-founder of Enviro-Gro Farms (a producer of fresh vegetables and processed meat products) and Vice-Chair of the Alumnae Advisory Board for the African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative (AWEC), she is passionate about producing healthy, sustainable food that is accessible and affordable, and helping women achieve financial independence enabling them increase their right to economic resources and their control over decisions that benefit themselves, their households and their communities. Listen as Eme tells us how against all odds, she achieved dreams that at first seemed improbable and the trade-offs she has had to make to achieve success.
