Description

Most fights happen when one person does something that the other wasn’t expecting. It can also be the other way around when a person fails to do something that the other was relying on. In all relationships, you can resolve a lot of conflicts before they happen if you set the proper expectations at the start. Each person would know what is expected of them, and what behaviors they can expect from others as well.   And the same thing goes for work relationships.

Today let's talk about setting expectations properly at work. Most businesses do this by creating a Code of Discipline.  And that is exactly what  our reader, Ely, is going thru when he asked:

"Atty, what are the things that would guide us  when  establishing a Code of Discipline both for start-ups and for companies with existing codes?"

Today, we’ll share some thoughts that would make the creation and implementation of a Code of Discipline easier. Stay tuned.  This episode is brought to you by "The Complete Employee Discipline System" A book that teaches owners, managers, and supervisors how to handle any offense easily and systematically. It provides step-by-step procedures from incident reports all the way to the clearance process. Stand your ground and discipline with confidence.
