What are the roles of the people in the barangay?
And, who would you know who's fit for the position you'll be voting for in the barangay.
When you leave the house, the first officials you'll see are from the barangay.
Tanods are included because they're the frontliners when it comes to government units. But not a lot of people understand.
What are the jobs of different people in the barangay? And, if ever you don't understand what their jobs are, how will you vote correctly?
Because if you don't have a base knowledge of what their jobs are for, this will be your grounds,
"Ah! I know this guy!" Or "That's my neighbor."
But that might not be the best grounds for voting for a candidate.
So in this episode, we will be talking about the smallest government unit there is, and that is the Barangay and its officials.
This episode is a joint project with a Counselor Institute, a nonprofit organization that provides research, policy formulation, advisory, and public communication to create government policies guided by science and research.
Go to www.counsellorinstitute.org for more information.
We will be diving into different people we put into enforcement and rulemaking capacity.
This time, we'll raise it from barangay to the city and provincial levels. For you to understand what we're pointing out. So we look forward to seeing you there.
So wasn't that simple?
Now go make better choices.
