In 1983 Susan Tice and Erin Gilmour were murdered in their apartments. Seventeen years later a Texas laboratory offered to test DNA samples from both crime scenes to attempt to link a suspect by family genealogy. Josepf George Sutherland was taken into custody and arrested for the murders.
