In this 8th journal I will watch movies and also read books. The film I watched was Disney's Tangled film, this film tells the story of Rapunzel, a girl with super long hair who for 18 years was imprisoned in a tower under the pressure of Mother Gothel who was none other than the person who kidnapped her. This long hair has magical powers and Mother Gothel uses Rapunzel's hair to keep her beautiful and youthful. Long story short, Rapunzel meets Flynn Rider, a handsome young man who is most wanted by the kingdom for committing theft. Flynn hides in the tower where Rapunzel is being held captive. Flynn ends up helping Rapunzel reveal who Rapunzel really is, a princess.
The story book I read is titled 'Peter Pan'. This book tells the story of Peter, a boy who decides not to grow up. He lived in Never Land, The Never Land was a beautiful place. There are fairies living in the treetops and mermaids swimming in the lagoon. There are native red Indians in a village on a cliff and a forest full of wild animals. Best of all, there are ships full of pirates with a very evil leader, Captain Hook. Peter sometimes flies into the human world and sits in the nursery window listening to stories about him. One night there were three children named Wendy, John and Michael Darling. They loved bedtime because every day Wendy told me about Peter Pan. Peter asked the three children to come with him to Never Land. Wendy was happy to hear this. Peter taught them how to fly. Then they flew to Never Land. There they played war with the red Indians, who were their best friends. Sometimes they have problems with the evil pirates, who are their enemies. One day the pirates stole Princess Tiger Lily from the Indian tribe. The head of India, his father, was very upset but Peter Pan saved Tiger Lily and brought him home safely. This makes Captain Hook, the leader of the pirates angry with Peter, more than ever. He kidnapped Wendy, John, Michael and the lost boys while Peter was away. He took them to his ship. Hook decides to throw him off the ship. Wendy is sure that Peter will save them. At the last minute, Peter shows up. He defeats Captain Hook and frees all his friends. They scared the evil pirates into jumping into the sea and rowing away in their boat. Now, they got the pirate ship. Wendy decided to go home. With hope and a little fairy dust, they made the pirate ship fly. They all sailed on the ship through the sky to the nursery window again.
