As we will come to find out Sweden is no stranger to the world of witches, supernatural folklore or Norse mythology. In this episode we will be exploring the intense and radical period of witch trials in 17th century Sweden that would come to be known as "The Great Noise". Come with us as we try to answer questions like what is Blåkulla? Who is the Gävle Boy and why did his story matter? Was the Witchcraft Commission entirely a bad thing? It is over the next few episodes that we will explore how the Great noise came to be and tell some of the most famous stories that came from these witch trials.
