Maryam & André survived CFCW's recent attacks on their fragile hearts and are back to discuss two matches that were wild and scary in two very different ways.
First, we look back on the 3-3 draw versus Wolfsburg. We discuss Pernille Harder's Revenge Tour, and how she's suddenly the player stepping up when Chelsea need a goal. We also dissect what was a beautiful and well-controlled start to the match that everyone forgot thanks to panic and calamity at the back gifting Wolfsburg goals and Chelsea putting Chelsea on their back foot.
Then we review the match at the weekend, where Pernille Harder saved the day yet again, but we also spotlight a brilliant performance from Jessie Fleming. We also discuss ways Chelsea can find more success against clubs who refuse to step out. We also chat about potential consequences of Chelsea not being able to rely on a secondary XI against milder opposition.
We wrap up with André's favorite segment, predictions! We look ahead to our second UWCL group stage match against Juventus and beg, pray, plead, and wish for a comfortable win – because our hearts need it.
