An ambitious infrastructure masterplan billed at over Rs 110 lakh crore was announced last year under National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP). The idea now is to not just pick a project here and there, but taking a giant leap to create an integrated effort, a coordinated effort to implement infrastructure, connectivity projects and get them completed in a timebound manner using a new technological interface. Gatishakti as a master plan that will provide the framework for NIP that will be unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 13.
