One of the most difficult job during the COVID-19 pandemic has been for the contact tracers who have been working day and night to identify the chains of transmission of COVID-19 virus. With the highly transmissible Delta strain, their job has become even more difficult. However, contact tracing is still playing a key role in keeping the transmission rates under check. Moving forward, the best way for the societies will be to eventually open up once a certain level of vaccination rates are achieved. There will be a strong requirement for different stakeholders such as the bureaucracy, health officials and people to come together and act responsibly.
