In this episode, I discuss why we should penalize interlopers who litter in/on our well manicured lawn. Of course, the lawn is a metaphor for our minds. It is our responsibility to guard and till the garden of our minds especially since the experiences we manifest, the lens we craft and the people we attract to us have a lot to do with our mentality and outlook. It is not benign to entertain every global or local tragedy- ESPECIALLY- if we don't have the wherewithal to remedy the situation. Awareness is one thing, but obsession or immersion is another thing altogether. Be balanced. Steward your energy and attention because the present moment and the things in your purview require it of you.
There is no virtue, longevity or wisdom in championing EVERY. SINGLE. CAUSE, just because someone informs you about it. Our lamenting and anger, if not coupled with resolve and action, has not reached it's highest purpose.
