As we move into the New Testament era, we see the scroll give way to the more compact Codex. This has great implications for how the Bible was copied, implications key to the discussion of modern translations. I also point out how this change coincided with the spread of Christianity throughout the empire. In the second part of this episode, I share about the book, “Ben-Hur” by Lewis Wallace.
