As Christianity began to spread, there arose a need for new translations. In this episode, we look at a few significant ones, and we focus mostly on the Latin translation of Jerome. Not only was the work significant and controversial in his own day, Jerome’s translation would play an important role in the centuries to follow. In the second part of the episode, I discuss Paul Tripp’s book, “Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands.”
