The almighty God of the Bible is gentle. We see this in how He confronts Adam and Eve over their sin, and it is reflected throughout the rest of Scripture. He does express wrath and brings punishment, but that is not His primary attribute. Additionally, we are called to be gentle as we imitate the character of our Lord.
