Today we have the anonymous, decentralized music artist, omgkirby, on a mission to revolutionize how music creation and distribution are approached. Driven by issues plaguing today’s music industry, in 2020, he set out to test a hypothesis: Can they create incredible, and valuable, generative music that people want to own the IP and rights to?
In a 2 year span, he has released a successful generative music collection, partnered with the likes of Jaden Smith, and built a DAO, granting fans membership along with ownership of each song’s masters and publishing rights.
