Today we have Iris Nevins, the co-founder and CEO of Umba Daima, a creative NFT Studio which also houses Black NFT Art and Unseen Gallery. Before becoming a tech and art entrepreneur, she was a former teacher and community activist who eventually became a software engineer, working at companies like Mailchimp and Vox Media. In Feb 2021 she left to start Umba Daima, focused on building a multi-cultural ecosystem of educational & social web3 experiences.
