Description

Miracle stories are fantastic things to share. There is something incredible about seeing crystal clear evidence of God's omnipotence and omnipresence. Some of these great acts are recorded in Scripture, and we can also see evidence of His miraculous handiwork in our lives today. As many of our kids grow up singing, "He healed the broken-hearted and set the captive free, He made the lame to walk again and caused the blind to see."

Today, however, we're going to talk about a miracle that never makes the list of favorite stories: that one time that Jesus yelled at a tree and it died. We'll talk about why He did something that strange during our message today, but it touches on a challenge that many of us face when we're waiting on *our* miracle and things don't quite turn out the way that we expected. We hope that even when things don't go the way that *we* hoped that you remember that *He* is still God, the One who is in control and the One who will bring things together for His glory. Regardless of the miracle you're hoping for today, we hope you trust the Miracle Maker every day.
