When I (Pastor Mike) was a kid, this week was always a big deal to me. The final draft of my most important project was due, and I spent hours polishing it. On Thanksgiving Day each year, I presented my parents with my Official Christmas Wish List. Usually between 4-6 pages long, my list was ranked and listed where to go to get the items for the best price. Wish lists aren’t new creations. However, did you know that even King David produced a wish list? In Psalm 27, we see that he has a list too, though his list only has 1 item. All David wanted was to be able to spend the rest of his life with God just so he could sit in awe of the Almighty (v. 4). This Christmas season, let’s tell of what God did to make that wish possible for each of us (including the price that He paid).
