Several centuries ago, a band of brave souls became known as the “one way missionaries” or even the “ missionaries.” As the titles betray, they were men and women who would pack their earthly belongings in a coffin as they set out with one- way tickets to the mission field. They ’ invite death or persecution, but they were committed to take light to the darkness for the rest of the life God would give them. A.W. Tozer (The Radical Cross) confesses for us “W want to be saved (and even serve), but we insist that Christ do all the dying.” However, it will be a generation that lays it all down, even if necessary their own lives, that will be the ones Satan fears the most.
