Readjusting Our Values - Jen Steigman
Genesis 2:18 God himself said it's not good for man to be alone... We actually dishonor God, and discredit Him and his original intent when we equate “holiness” with being alone, denying our God created need for a partner, or friendships and community. If we think “All I need is a relationship with God, just His presence, and am proving my love and devotion to God by staying single, or choosing to spend all my time alone with God, not being distracted by people and their messes, we are actually saying we know better than God, we know what’s best for us.. Even Jesus couldn’t live His life with “Just Gods presence”.. that wasn’t Gods best.
